We are passionate about sourcing seasonal and local produce. All of our meat is sourced from farms within a 20 mile radius, and most of our game and vegetables are brought to the pub by villagers. We change the menu seasonally and our goal is to cook British food that is refined yet unfussy.
Everything on our menu is made on the premises from scratch. Families with children are most welcome in the restaurant at any time. Many of our main course dishes are available to order in half portions.


The bar is a cosy area with a large open fire place and traditional decor. We serve five quality cask ales, two of which are from the nearby Hook Norton brewery, with the three other guest ales changing every few days. We are proud to be cask marque certified. Our wine list is varied and extensive, with eight wines available by the glass. Guest wines are regularly available.
